Qualifications: High school, business school or GED diploma required. Minimum of two (2) years experience in general office procedures. Knowledge of computers required including a working knowledge of Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, as well as a general familiarity with database systems. Ability to interface with consumers who participate in the services provided by the MHAEM.
Responsibilities: Maintain a professional office in our community mental health settings as well as Essex County Correctional Facility. Maintain filing system. Develop and/or maintain consumer database, have access to CCIS, Logician and DSI correctional and CFG databases. Generate correspondence, reports, memos and type forms as required, etc. Perform Medicaid and other billing procedures. Operate various office machines such as copier, fax, etc. and call for maintenance as required. Answer phones and take messages for all staff. Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual utilization review and risk management/safety committee responsibilities. Generate reports on a monthly basis. Completes 60 day discharge follow up for all teams. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director. Process bills for payment. Process USTF and handles all termination paperwork. Assist in other programs as needed.
