Qualifications: Must have a current Driver’s License in good standing. Flexibility in working varying hours during the day and days during the week including some evening hours as needed.  Experience serving those diagnosed with mental illness is a plus. Must also possess basic computer skills as well as the ability to read maps and driving routes. Must be able to provide services to our consumers in a respectful, courteous and compassionate manner.

Responsibilities:  Position is for 20-25 hours per week and provides safe and timely transportation to consumers from the Self Help, Advocacy and Education program, to and and from the program. Monitors the upkeep and maintenance of agency vehicles that are used, reporting any issues to the supervisor.  Must maintain a driving record both in good standing and as per Agency policy standards. Transports up to 12 passengers to activities and assists consumers on and off of the vans, including non-ambulatory consumers. Completes paperwork as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
