Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three years of experience in bookkeeping. Must be highly skilled in the use of basic Microsoft Office programs, with an emphasis in Excel. Must be precise and pay great attention to detail. Must be proficient in using ADP/ Workforce Now. Must be willing to consider new ideas and solutions.

Responsibilities: Payroll  – Payroll responsibilities include: Review bi-weekly time-cards for approvals and accuracy. Inform Program Directors/Supervisors of any time cards that need approval and/or corrections. Review pay rates for employees working at multiple locations to determine if employees are paid at correct rates and charged to the correct general ledger account. Review pay data,  upload from ADP/Time & Attendance on a bi-weekly basis. Review new hires for proper general ledger coding and rate. Maintain payroll files. Upload payroll journal entry from ADP to Traverse from bi-weekly and month-end accruals.

Banking – Banking responsibilities include: processing deposits via bank scanner and maintaining deposit details. Enter banking activity in Traverse on a weekly basis. Responsible for preparing and maintaining all bank reconciliations with the corresponding support.

Billing Related: Billing related responsibilities include: transmit all billing for the agency Programs. Compare weekly billing transmitted to the Excel Batch worksheet. Input and maintain weekly denied claim reports and submit to the Billing Operations Manager/Program Directors. Provide prior authorizations to Billing Operations Manager/Program Directors. Assist Controller with billing related duties. Attend quarterly billing meetings. Provides reception area coverage, as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by Chief Financial Officer/Controller.
