Monday through Friday – 4 hours per day

Requires: High School Diploma or GED. Must have at least 2 years of related janitorial, security or facilities maintenance experience. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and familiarity with MSDS sheets. Willingness to work early morning or late night shifts. Ability to work well under minimal supervision. Capacity to take direction & strong attention to detail. Requires lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary.

Responsibilities : Perform general cleaning of all areas of the building, including but not limited to: vacuuming, sweeping and mopping all floors; dusting and sanitizing all surfaces; thorough cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens and all appliances; cleaning of windows and window treatments; removal of trash and recycling; use of biohazard spill kit, as needed.
Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
Restock and supply paper products and maintain stock of all supplies needed for daily operations.
Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance activities. Trouble shoot issues with HVAC and lighting, as needed. Identify and report the need for possible large repairs, fix minor plumbing issues. Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas and parking lot, including snow removal and treatment of sidewalks and exterior surfaces.
